BRAC is one of the world`s leading development organisation. Since 1972 BRAC is dedicated to alleviating poverty and empowerment of the poor. In continuation to that, BRAC has taken Humanitarian Crisis Management Project in Ukhia and Teknaf Upazilas of Cox`s Bazar district to support the displaced people arriving from the Rakhine state of Myanmar.
চাকরির বিবরণ / দায়িত্বসমূহ:
Provides legal support to Forcibly Displaced Myanmar Nationals (FDMN)/ Sexual and Gender Based Violence survivors
Advises and trains community outreach workers on legal messaging content
Provides advice and contextualised advice
Supports clients through legal process
Takes evidence and personal history from individuals wanting to record evidence of violations of international humanitarian law
Conducts community mediation where appropriate

শিক্ষাগত যোগ্যতা: LLM or LLB from any recognised university/ institutions
অভিজ্ঞতা: কমপক্ষে ১ বছর
অন্যান্য যোগ্যতা
Minimum 1 year experience in relevant field. Candidates having experience of work in vulnerable and/ or displaced communities, community mediation and criminal justice system of Bangladesh will be preferred
Sound knowledge of criminal justice system and international humanitarian law
Excellent communication and facilitation skills
Strong mentality to work with displaced people as well as Sexual and Gender Based Violence survivors
Ability to adapt to changes and work in tense situations
Strong motivation and ability to undertake regular field visits and interact with different stakeholders
Ability to speak the local Chittagong dialect is a plus
