We are in competition to run after Jahannam – An analytical overview
Farhad Uddin Ahmed Bhuiyan: Before I speculate the issue I had better say earning in the honest way is the pre-condition of accepting the prayer to the Almighty Allah. But the reality is that most of the people across the world including Muslims have been running after earning money in illegal and dishonest means ignoring the Quranic Orders and Rules like as the fire fly to jump on the Hell. The tendency of earning in illegal means has made nest into the pulp of human bone. Worrying matter is that the whole homosapien of the Universe are in competitive race of earning money in dishonest ways. Another harmful trend in human being got spiked in this age such as nudity, immoral and unsocial activities, illegal sex, pornography, indecent vulgarism, rape, adultery, extra-marital relation, nuisance, homosexuality, live in relation etc. in the name of modernity and so-called open air cultural freedom leaving behind the actual spirit of a human being and the teachings of the Holy Quran.
And ruining the right of others by the influential, usurper and limit crossers, keeping aside the true aspect of accountability of every deeds on the day of resurrection, has become just a mere fashion and creditworthy issues to the culprits. Can anyone name a place where there is no brutality, cruelty, unjust deeds, social oppression, persecution etc. committed by the people on this planet? It won’t be possible. Decade after decade human being is turning its natural characteristics and qualities to the habit and features of animals. Activities of most of the people are contradictory to the nature a perfect human being should have to be. People now a day stockpile the foods, crops and other essential commodities to get the high rate in sales whereas their such detestable and devil acts give extra burden to consumers which is absolutely prohibited by the Holy Quran. But who cares?
Everyone wants to be the affluent, super human etc. etc. Smuggling, adulteration in foods, Contamination of food products, adulteration in medicine, health care and beauty care products have been common in most of the countries of the world for which millions of people are in vulnerable situation and at risk of their lives too.
Apart from this, no one feels like to think for a moment where we are heading to and what we are doing. Rather the wrong doers and their followers sound much. Most people even do not want to perceive the worsen consequence they will have to face on the day of judgment. Is Justice ensured in the way it is to be? Answer is very simple. Witnesses do not give true and fair deposition in cases and they become tutored before standing in the witness box. Is it not mockery to the litigants in the name of justice and Equity. Question is why people conceal the true story and fact? Money and power do matter. We also see very often a group of people targeting to ruin communal harmony instigating a quarter of people fond of doing and uttering hatred words, speech and others indicating to the verses of the Holy Quran. Then what happens? Whole Muslim community agitates, demonstrates, holds protest procession etc. condemning such deplorable works of the disbelievers.
We know Prophet Mohammad also becomes target of the opportunists. Sometimes it wears bloody and unrest collision. Should we let it happen? Not exactly. Peace loving people never expect others will walk on that passage of evil works. If I approach for writing down the whole wrong deeds we people are used to accommodate I will require a whole lot of time and daring lion heart, though I believe I am not chicken hearted fellow. Do not we people deal with illegal trade and business aiming more profits? Perhaps, a group of people will attempt to justify their position but in fact; there is no denying fact that dishonest business in order to boom the sales price of their product or services.
However, who cares about the right and peaceful co-existence of the next door neighbors and the neighbors? What lesson we have got from the verses of the Holy Quran? We people are not following this and as such we must have to be the fuel of the Hale. Depriving the right and privileges of the family members has been a common and a trifle issue to us. The more we are being highly educated the more we are going to astray being morally defalcated. There are many examples of not even providing square meal to the family members by the so-called well-established persons. Prayer and seeking blessing cannot be performed only to show up others like as performance other social festivals and rituals.
Actually, researchers say that more than 85% people of the world offers and says their prayers to show up which results nothing but certificates of being thrown to the Hale. We should only fear the multifocal punishment of fire and others in the Hale, no community leaders and /or political peer will be able to put any safeguard for us rather they will be looking for the mercy from the rage and punishment of the Almighty Allah. Do you know when and why people will have to get roasted in the Hale fire? Let’s know about this. People who will misappropriate and take away the money and wealth from the government treasure illegally which is the property of the citizens of the concerned country will never be forgiven by Allah since they have misappropriated the public money and the right of the public. Thus, until and unless a single citizen left to forgive the concerned person, he or she must have to dwell in the Hale fire forever. So, is this the right task people heading to commit every now and then? No, not at all.
Another interesting point is that cheating is being the trend of this age. Unfortunately, we people could not endorse us honest even now. Every day we have to get different and charismatic deception news story on media which shakes the policymakers to think and amend the existing law in this connection. New dimensional cheating tactics sometimes dodges the law enforcement agency members. What more I should say about deception. I think you people know all about this at length.
Moreover, we cannot imagine how the cheaters throw the bait to the victims. It is actually thrilling and unbelievable. The persons who become the victim of deception get alert but in vein, nothing resists the cheaters. They look for another strategy and fresh prey. Thus, the reign of deception marches ahead. Even highly educated people have been found involved in cheating and giving dodge in artistic way which is hatred in deed.
Also the number of crime doing tendency is hiking alarmingly in the recent age. Indecent, vulgar, nude dress and out fittings have been getting spread like as virus both in man and women. Irrespective to religion, caste, age people are busy enough to show up their inner figure and body structure through their wear dress and clothing dusting the religious spirit, social value etc. Most importantly, being lunatic for show up and fashion, even mothers start competition with their daughters how can they expose their bare body in public.
In fact, the topic I am talking about is not only apt for developed countries but very commonly found in such countries like ours. We know and we have to know well that parda (Veil) is not only mandatory for female but also compulsory for male. But the way, system and limitation and dimensions are a bit different nothing more than this. The world has got flooded and filled with nuisance, sins, vulgarism, pornography for which Allah warned hardly in His verses of Holy Quran. Nudity and vulgarism turned into the routine works and business of most of the people of this Earth where Muslims are not legging behind from such hatred deeds too. No telling to say that Allah is so much merciful and great otherwise what we human beings are carrying out must deserve to be ruined just now. We, forgetting our own religious and ethnic culture, are rushing to the tide of others culture and fashion resulting a slap on our own tradition and religion.
Can someone tell me where there are no dramas, movies, telefilm etc. being made and on aired having decent and lucid way of presentation keeping the code of Holy Quran? Nowhere. So, the deluge of vulgarism and nudity have been part and parcel of recreation to the greater part of the Human beings of this planet. Hence, for what sake Allah will not put Azab (punishment) on Human Beings!!!
I think Allah is The Most diligent and kind to Human being otherwise we would have been destroyed much earlier with the rage of the Almighty.
Trust upon anyone has become very shaky in these day. There are many case found in home and abroad in different classes who do not bother to keep the words and trust of others; whereas keeping trust of other has a remarkable and awarding importance as per the verses of Holy Quran. Business amassed with interest and Riba has been a main driving force of today’s world economy whereas it is completely forbidden by the verses of the Holy Quran. Interest based banking, financial activities, business have strictly been prohibited by Almighty Allah. But who cares? Not only this, can you imagine and think about animal like father who even do not hesitate to rape their own daughters!! Recently we are experiencing such shocking news on media that daughters even are not safe in the hands of lustful animal like father. Where we are heading to? Does not it mean that we are at the peak and extreme of moral defalcation and social nuisance? Is not it the sign of Jahiliat?
In recent years, we saw news on media that some father and mother killed their innocent adolescent and child being addicted and ferocious as a consequence of after marriage relations. Another very detestable habit we South East Asian people do belong that is tendency of giving less in weight while selling to consumers. It is very common in Bangladesh. Mobile courts are vigilant and in action to find out the accused and put them on trial and punishment, despite that people are doing such hatred and rubbish works in full swing.
Besides, misappropriation of money and property is nothing new in this Planet, more particularly, in our country. You must know that an unhealthy competition of earning money and property in illegal and dishonest way has been skyrocketing alarmingly in today’s world. Humanity in mankind is going to be die out and people are now randomly killing their embryos after they can detect them not a baby boy but baby girl. Mostly, as a result of illegal sexual intercourse when unprotected sex is performed and unexpected pregnancy is found people kill the embryos from the womb forgetting that it is a great sin as has been mentioned in the Holy Quran. Embryo killing tendency is not only found in the illiterate community in our society rather the highly educated people from the sophisticated corner carry out such heinous crime.
One point I must dig out that is showing negligence to baby girl by even all the people of a family. It had been in the primitive era and before the civilization in uncountable ratio; but with the passage of time negligence to women and baby girl had to be reduced. But the crucial truth is that it took a new U – turn in the society having its crucial snap in the fate of baby girls. Almost parents do feel like to deprive their daughters from their genuine rights of inheritance saying and assuming that sons are their actual successors and they will take care of them with love and affection and hard earned money. But the reality is different.
Breach of trust and breach of commitment have become very simplified issue as these are being happened every now and then in our society and the wider world. No one has time to think deeply about the harmful effect of such devil habit. Denial and breach of contract is just like a common phenomenon in our country and the wider world too. People are never worried about the commitment and the legal aspect of any contract and agreement. The ethical, moral issues and legal aspects of the executed instruments do not get place in their mind rather they assume these a trifle. Subordinate staffs, maid, helping hands etc. don’t get proper and justified remuneration in time and on the other hand they are put on the wheel of cruelty, barbarism which sometimes defeats the brutality of the then Jahiliat age.
Discrimination even among the family members are not rare. Showing discrimination tendency has been as if the built in habit in human nature. Though there is strict bar in the Holy Quran; but who fears and cares. Few and far between, I get perplexed and do not feel like to think that people will be free from sins and wrong deeds.
But within the short interval of time, I regain confidence in my mind that I can and should not be hopeless as there is a teaching from the Hadith that Prophet Mohammad (peace be upon him) once in conversation with a Sahabi said that if the Qyamah and deluge is just under your very nose to happen, even then if you have a tree plant in your hand, you should plant the tree. So, there is no denying fact that we must not be hopeless until our last breathing. However, Dowry is haram and prohibited for the believers. Actually what we see in our society? Who takes the dowry? Being Muslims and offering our five times prayer we are submerged in the dirty act of receiving dowry from the parents of the daughter- in -law. Is it justified? Are not you shameless? Can haram deeds and religion of peace walk together? How unjust we are to a father who grew up his beloved daughter with utmost care and love but he has to count huge amount of dowry for your son? Is not it more or equal to the then Jahiliat age?
On the other hand, a hot cake like business is in full swing in our country that is well acquainted to all. Fixing a huge amount of dower money in the wedlock has been a trade by the bride and their family in this day. In the excuse of prestige and social status, people from the bride family put extreme pressure at the time of solemnizing marriage. By doing so, after few days or months, they plan to break the matrimonial tie and ask for dower money. Sorrowful matter is that they even do not think about the consequence of it. In such hatred work, parents of the bride give fuel. Fixing dower excessively not in accordance with the capacity of the bridegroom is a great sin. But who has time to think about it?
Disrespect and denial of religious belief in the name of modernity has been a common issue in the elite society and educated people. Having trust and faith on Islam only can give the proper and welfare based direction for all human beings is to be taken into first priority. Surprisingly we are heading to a competition of being first towards Shirk and Bidyat. The main stream of Islam is being distorted only to avail the temporal interest and facilities. In every knock and corner of our society, it has boomed and who are playing vital role to promote such activities can be termed Dazzal of the modern age.
Almost people of our society are flooded in the superstition and jealousy which have no place in the Islam. Enviousness is a common disease in the people of our society. We get pain in our heart when seeing others success and happiness. How sorrowful matter is this! Having no guarantee of taking the next breathing we, shamelessly and like as fool, boast and show our pride in all stages of life. I become astonished why people forget about the spirit of Islam? Only Almighty Allah has the right to boast nobody else. Greediness and covetous tendency are part and parcel in human nature. I find no difference among Muslims and other peoples in this regard. Everybody run after amassing all the property, money, name, fame, position etc. overnight by not thinking whether they are trying to do such legally or illegally. There has been a tradition that almost people being Muslim try to pretend that they are impartial in the the core point of Islam, Akedah etc. to avoid troublesome situation in their preaching and livelihood.
Eventually, it is nothing but the sign to be in the hatred corner. Where there is clear and lucid directions and guidelines in the verses of the Holy Quran, to what extent we believers can remain silent pretending to be neutral!!Natural calamity, epidemic and pandemic etc. are the outcome and warning to our reckless bath in the Ocean of Sin in this age; though many people may differ with me showing scientific argument and son on.
At the edge of my write up, I would like to remind how much land does a person require after death? And real successful are those upon whom Almighty Allah is pleased and to whom He gives the pass to enter into the Paradise except this. Whatever we do and achieve in this temporal world are nothing but astray.
