Webinar on “Concept of Transitional Justice in the Present Context” held
Luthfunnahar Shancyi: Southeast Moot Court Society (SEMCS), in collaboration with Asia Justice & Rights (AJAR), organized the webinar titled “Concept of Transitional Justice in the Present Context.” This webinar aims to reveal the basic concept of transitional justice among the students of the Department of Law & Justice, Southeast University.
The event took place on 25th November at 6:00 pm Bangladesh Time, 8:00 pm Indonesia time.
The webinar was efficiently conducted through the zoom platform. More than one hundred twenty (120) students along with the faculty members of the Department of Law & Justice vibrantly participated in the webinar.
Asia Justice & Rights (AJAR), the collaboration partner of the webinar is an international and non-benefit NGO whose point is to add to strengthen the human rights and lightening of settled in the exemption in the Asia-Pacific area. AJAR tries to engage national and international partners to create different opportunities to enriched their skills and knowledge.
In the webinar the welcoming remarks made by Mr. Mohammad Jahid Mustofa, Assistant Professor & Chairman of the Department.
Nicole Janisiewicz, Legal Advisor, AJAR, and Pia Conrad Sen, Lawyer and Program Associate, AJAR, were present in the webinar in the speaker panel discussion. Miss. Sadia Siraj, Moderator, SEMCS & Assistant Professor of the Department, moderated the lively webinar.
In the end, Prof. Dr. ANM Meshquat Uddin, Adviser, BoT, Southeast University, expressed his gratefulness to the highlighted subject matter of the webinar in the present context and also thanked the speakers for their essential time and all the members for making the webinar an effective one.
