UAP Participated in the ‘UCB Public Parliament Debate-2021’
Debating and Public Speaking Club (DPSC), UAP participated in the ‘UCB Public Parliament-2021’ on 26 November 2021 at the ATN Bangla Studio, Bangladesh Film Development Corporation (BFDC).
Mr. Ghulam Muhammed Quader, MP, Chairperson of Jatiya Party and Former Minister, Ministry of Commerce attended the event as the Chief Guest. The title of the debate was “In a free market economy, the role of government in controlling the market is secondary.” UAP debaters opposed the motion and debated against the team from Daffodil International University. UAP has been runner up in the debate competition.
Shahriar Islam Shovon, L&HR, Kazi Mehedi Hasan Joy,Dept. of English, Nusrat Jemin Monica L&HR, Rafid Al Bukhari, Dept. of Civil Engineering and Sadiya Binte Rashid, Dept. of Pharmacy participated in the debate. The debate was moderated by Mr. Hasan Ahmed Choudhury Kiron, Chairman, Debate for Democracy.
Among others, Ms. Nazia Wahab, Assistant Professor, L&HR and Adviser, DPSCand Md. Tarek Khan, AD, DS Walong with a large number of students witnessed the keenly contested event.
