Site launched aiming to boost judicial performance
A website has been launched to provide one stop service to the citizens of Bangladesh regarding all judicial information and services on Saturday in Dhaka’s Bangabandhu International Conference Centre.
The portal can be found at www.judiciary.org.bd.
Chief Justice Surendra Kumar Sinha inaugurated the website during National Judiciary Conference 2016.
The website has been planned and implemented by joint collaboration of the Supreme Court of Bangladesh, Law and Justice Division and Access to Information (a2i) programme of the Prime Minister’s Office.
State minister for ICT Zunaid Ahmed Palak speaking at the conference said that the website will take the goal of digital Bangladesh one step ahead. It aims to present all the information regarding case status to provide law, information and judiciary service to the mass nationwide.
He hopes that it will help to gradually reduce the huge backlog of around 3 million cases pending with courts across the country.
